After starring in the Hollywood actioner Ninja Assassin, completing a world tour, and taking a hand at producing his own boy band, Rain is back in Korea, and back at what he does best. After his 5th album ‘Rainisim’ released in October 2008, Rain is back with a special album ‘Back To the Basic’ after 18 months.Earlier, we were treated to the title ballad number ‘Love Song’ Rain’s anticipated special mini-album Back to the Basic comes with five new cuts, including one English song. The album’s title is a reflection that Rain, though now an international superstar, has never forgotten where he started, and approaches his music with the same ambition and attitude as he did eight years ago as a newcomer.

The concept of Back To The Music will combine 2 sides of Rain, masculine and feminine. In the video teaser that was released last March 23, Rain appeared with long wavy shoulder-length hair, use mascara to thicken lashes contours, but still showing the muscles of his sturdy and six pack stomach. In less than 12 hours, this video has opened more than a hundred thousand people.

Many people argued that the appearance of change is quite radical, especially the eyes Rain that made like a doll’s eyes. When viewed from the shoulders up, Rain looks like a beautiful doll, while from the shoulders down in appearance with the boys really tempting abdominal muscles.
